In June of 2003 cheesemaker Jennifer Betancourt partnered with the Knight Family of Smiling Hill Farm to create Silvery Moon Creamery and the results have been delicious. Silvery Moon handcrafts over a dozen varieties of cheese, including Camembert, Brie, Westbrook White, Rosemary's Waltz, Tally Ho with Peppercorn, Aged R&R Cheddar, Crème Fraiche, Fresh Mozzarella (summer season only), Fresh Cheddar Curd, Herbed Marinated Curd, and more! We received three awards at the American Cheese Society's 2004 Competition, and have received favorable press in local papers as well as the New York Times and Food and Wine Magazine.  Please visit us at the market and meet the ladies who make the cheese!
